Promotion Update:  We're excited to hear that Shiloh is extending this amazing promotion in to 2013.  It has been a huge success for us and an amazing deal to our clients!  We can offer our clients the high end, custom look of INSET doors for the price of a mid-range cabinet, like KraftMaid.  Once only privvy to the luxury market, inset doors can now be in a mid-range budget remodel.  Hurry in today to take advantage of this promotion.

Now, for a limited time, you can enhance your cabinets with a classic, antique look. Beaded inset cabinet doors add character and depth to your cabinets and are now available for the same price as standard overlay doors! This offer is available only for Shiloh Cabinetry, a quality, custom-cabinet fabricator in business since 1977.

I am not the easiest customer and can be demanding and pretty direct with what I like and don't like. You were great to work with on every project. It was all very positive.

About The Kitchen Place

Brown cabinets with white countertops in a beautiful white background kitchen.

The Kitchen Place was founded in 1983 by Alec & Betty Osvath. Alec began his career designing kitchens in the early 70's for PK Lumber in downtown Dayton. Betty started out in 1980, designing for a small cabinet outlet shop on old US 35, east of Xenia, Ohio.

They always had a dream of opening their own dealership and in 1983, they opened The Kitchen Place. Their first year was a success and they added additional lines of cabinetry. In 1984, their daughters, Karla and Kelly, joined the company part-time while attending Wright State University. Karla went right in to sales and design. Kelly worked as office manager/bookkeeper. Before the days of computers, Kelly's other duty was to hand render clients' new kitchens. Tom Detty joined the team in 1986.

You can count on us to give you the expert advice and guidance you need to make the right decisions about your home. Here's why:

Your Dream Kitchen Advocate

The Kitchen Place has been in business over 25 years.

Our sales approach is no pressure. We will educate you on our materials and provide you with a proposal, broken down into materials and installation. You will be able to make an informed decision and not feel rushed or pressured. We view each project as an opportunity to give you and your family an incremental piece of happiness in your life. A place where you can better enjoy family meals. A place to be more efficient with your time. A place to provide multi-functional areas to watch TV, do home work, or make crafts. The sense of satisfaction that we have in bringing this to fruition is beyond words.

Every employee at The Kitchen Place has ten to twenty-two years of experience in kitchen design and remodeling. Each of us has undergone extensive remodeling projects in our very own homes, so we have first-hand experience about the entire process. We understand how overwhelming (or fun!) a kitchen project can be, from the myriad of decisions that must be made to coping with the construction process.

Excellent service is our hallmark. It is not merely lip service to our company. It's a reality. The amount of customer testimonials we get is a testament. Read them here.

Design Skills

Our design philosophy is form follows function. We are not just stacking boxes against a wall. We will work with each space and each family to create a kitchen with your individual needs in mind.

Industry Recognition

The Kitchen Place has been published in several magazines throughout the years. We also received a "Dawn Award" from KraftMaid Cabinetry in 1993 as "Best New Dealer".
